i dont know whether this guy loves me or not, i mean as far we talked online and on phone to me it looks like he really does like me, but then people say that never trust or fall in love with people online? sometimes it's hard for me cuz he lives in another state and i am in another state.

I think that if people are really HONEST with you and their intentions then it is possible. Its a great way to get to know the person and by that you gain that emotional attraction and when the time comes and you meet in person you can just go from their. I met my bf on yahoo msgr. We chatted for 3 months b4 we met and well.....put it this way. We have been together for 2 years and we now have a 5 month old son....So, i wish you the best of luck with your guy friend. Just remember that there are a bunch of psycho's out there! BTW- we also lived in different states.

Its not stupid. It's actually difficult for me to get into someone via the Internet. It's hard for people to be witty and interesting with words all of the time like you have to be on IM, or email. When you are in person you can be distracted by good looks and not have to say much, or be sitting quietly in the movies and not have the pressure of talking.
So, sometime talking on line is more difficult.
If you get along intellectually then what's stupid about that?

PS...Predators are not just online.
Meeting someone online is as safe or more safe then at a club or a bar.
More people have been killed from meeting a nutso at the grocery store than online.
The online stories make the news more..that's all.

i met my girlfriend online that was 4 years ago and we are happy as ever so go for it we did not live in the same state when we started.good luck

its almost impossible to meet your life long patner over the internet and with only talking you cant fall in love with a voice you ned to meet him spend time together and decide from there.

lemme just say .. well yes.. u may talk to themm.. on the fone and online but what are they doin' when ur not with them??.. if u honestly think about it u will start to realize ur out of ur mind and should move on a.s.a.p/... and plus u never really know who is on the other side of that keyboard/fone..
