I've always wondered that. How shy and insecure are they? How smart are they? They get all this attention -- does it mean they have high self-esteem?

I know some hot girls that are insecure about their looks. Some don't like the attention because they are not ready for guys chasing after them.
Some may have been 'not-so-hot' in the past, and are now confident because they are now full of self-esteem and ready to take on the world! They may insecure about themselves, and their pictures of them in the past.
Some girls are hot, but not so smart. Some girls are not so hot, and they are smart. But does being smart really matter? You can fool intelligence, but you can't fool wisdom.
Hot girls don't always get the attention. If they use their looks to get attention, then without attention, they must have low-self esteem. Theoretically, their self-esteems are fueled by their level of 'hotness'.
Hot girls may be shy, if they meet a guy that they truly like; maybe that's because they want the guy to like them as well.
Some may even be shy on purpose, to reel in the guy, andfind out more about him by making him talkative. I think if she does all the talking, the guy may be too distracted by her hotness, and she won't learn too many things about him. A girl knows what kind of guy she wants and likes. They may use their hotness to their advantage, like some girls, but some prefer to flaunt it, and use it as a teaser, and some don't use their hotness at all. You never know. Some girls may be hot, but even the hottest are too busy in their own lives to worry about boyfriends. Who knows?

I prefer being modest. and refuse to admit that i look above average. Inspite of that im a very shy girl and smart too. and because of that people think i have an attitude or at least assume that i can't be all that pretty and smart at the same time ... Its weird how some people judge others.. It use to bother me before when i was much younger but now i really don't care.There is nothing wrong with being shy and yes there are alot of pretty girls who are insecure. And thank god im not one .

Usually.it means they are confident. And high self esteem, yeah.
Smart, depends on the girl. Shy and insecure girls are.. Shy and insecure, and don't like to be noticed.

I get attention from my looks, but I really dislike it sometimes.
See, I was not hot in my teen years, I hit my 20s and everything fell into place.
So, all the attention was not normal for me, and it made me a little shy.

I'M A HOT CHICK. AND I WILL SAY THAT YES, I GET ALOT OF ATTENTION, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M CONCEITED OR A DUMB BLOND OR ANY STEREOTYPE YOU WOULD PLACE ON A HOT CHICK.
AND THERE ARE TIMES I DON'T WANT THE ATTENTION AND WILL BE VERY SHORT WITH PEOPLE BECAUSE IT GETS OLD HAVING PEOPLE HIT ON YOU AND YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE GETTING HIT ON. YOU JUST WANT TO SIT THERE AND HAVE A COUPLE OF DRINKS WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND TALK TO THEM.

It depends on the person. I know plenty of girls who are cocky from it, others don't like the attention.
