Are there still going to be places (in the U.S.) that will get lots of snow for a while yet? What's to expect?

Your question directly relates to why concerned citizens need to take action. Even now, particularly in the Northeast, ski slopes and other Winter recreation areas are closed due to warmer weather, and this has been the case over the past several years. In general, snowboarders will have fewer options available in the future as the earth's temperatures continue rising. That's not to say there will not be snow in some areas, but there will definitely be fewer choices, unless society begins tot ake action now.

Two ways.

Ski resorts will have less snow. On the East Coast there won't be any ski resorts. Some will still exist in places like Montana and the high mountains of Colorado.

More importantly global warming will cost us all a huge amount of money to deal with disruptions of agriculture and coastal flooding. Only the very rich will be able to still afford to do it. Ordinary folks are going to be short of money.

It probably not for a long time. But it eventually will by obviously melting the snow. It is going to take an extremely long time to melt all the snow and some places are going to be less melted than others. You shouldn't expect this anytime soon though. Although it depends what you call soon. Within your lifetime you could probably expect the earths temperature to rise once again a bit more.

Global warming raises the global temperature. It's going to get hotter. Heat will melt the snow.. therefore, if it continues [or worsens] then there will be no more snow? Thus, no more SNOWboarding?
