when i call it says "we're sorry you must first dial a 1 when calling this number" i dont know why its saying that. ive called that number for over 2 years and now its not working. we are both in the same area code we live only like 3 miles away from eachother so whats wrong. i havnt been able to get in contact with him.

i dialed a 1 before the number and i get the same message

Just hit the one before the number, most towns are making you do that now because they have to put in new area codes because there are more people with more phone numbers.

Try these:
-Dial the area code and then the phone number
-Dial a 1, then the area code, then the number
sorry if u have alrdy tried that but once it told me that message and i just dialed the area code and it worked.
Just have ur friend call you if they dont work
