If you really love her he should be able to understand that, I don;t think after we utter the phrase "I love you" my person starts feeling that I love him/her.
If with saying the phrase he can not understand you love him then you need to look at yourself.

If you truly love this person and you are true to yourself then you can truly be truthful with this person and if this person cares anything about you they will be honest enough to say whether or not if they have the same feelings and then you can go from there but do not wait for ever because you may never get the chance to speak your heart if they have found someone else beofre you can tell them

Well the best is to get your guts together and go and say it to him directly.If you are shy try doing it alone without people around you.There is nothing better for a guy than when a girl comes and tells him that she really loves him.And avoid saying that you "like" him.Say that you "love" him.Best of luck.

I am really shy too. And I knew she would say it back. What ever you do, don't say it when you're fighting, trying to be intimate, etc.
One morning I just drove over to her house, got her out of bed, and said, "I just had come to over and ltell you that I love you." She still remembers everything about that moment.

So am i! and so is my boyfriend but hey... someone's got to make the first step! ... first of all be sure it's the right time, and that he really feels same way... it can be painful if he just doesn't say it back.. I didn't get it back but i knew he loved me hehe he just couldn't get it out.
Guys are really weird about it.. I made sure he was there with me 100% and asked like how are you? are you ok? are you hungry? are you sleepy? hehe... then I asked him what do you think about love?... he sure will give you his opinion and for sure he will ask why?... that's your chance to say because I love you... I hope things go well and you get it back... I made my boyfriend's nose bleed! hehe kinda good story to tell to our kids thou!

what u should do is take ur man or got some where with him and then spend at least 3-4 hours with him and at the right time when u think he is most close in talks to u or talk some thing like some serious talk sharing at at the right moment when he is most emotionally attached to u sy it right forward that" honey i wanna say some thing ..........." rest u should fill it up and say as in such cases u should be what u r.

if u decide not to reveal ur feelings noww...u might not able to gather all ur courage to tell him all ur life...just say it...its better to get rejected then hiding something u know will never be spoken...lol i think i am writing a huge essay here for u...just start a friendly conservation and then slowly begin to give him clues ...and then tell him how u feel = )
