cause if you remove f from Flour, R from Tern and S from thirsty, you've get a number.THAT'S NOT HARD ISN'T IT???

less equals more? Take a letter out to get less, and the word ends up to be more (a number)

take away a letter from each word and they form a number word.

FLOUR - L = FOUR
TERN - R = TEN
THIRSTY - S = THIRTY
