You would have to have your parents apply for a credit card that allows a parent to oversee a minor. I believe VISA offers something like this (no, not a gift card) that parents can set with spending limits and so forth. Otherwise, check with a bank in your area, including perhaps one that your parents bank with, to see if the branch manager would be willing to let you open one. I know Commerce Bank, for instance, will let a minor have a checking account if the branch manager or assistant manager feels it is appropriate and the parent also has an account.

Just frequent one of the credit card booths that will be in the Student Center in the spring and sign up for a menu of credit cards and GET INTO DEBT ASAP!

All these rest of our are addicted to high level of debts.
