Ok. My best friend likes this guy and he kinda likes her back. Shes in grade 7 and hes in grade 8. They have danced together a couple of times so they are kinda going out. But i think she is being a little over protective because he is hangin out with one girl that she hates. And she is in hawaii and on msn she asked me if he was hanging out with the girl she hates. Is she being overprotective? And im really worried because she is sensitive and the last time she found him hanging out with a girl, she started crying. I'm afraid shes gonna get hurt! I'm trying to convince her that the girl she hates is just a friend but its not workin! What should I do??

Tell her slow her role for one. She needs to have her head in the books & striving for her future . She is way too damn young to be possesive over a boy who doesn't know anything about life yet. At her age neither does she. Playing grown up is dangerous & she is tooo possesive that's not good. She has her whole life to live & an 8th grade boy is not in it for the long haul & she could ruin her future getting into guys this early 4 real, I've seen this too many times, that's why alot of girls end up pregnant early & the dudes are there bcuz neither was ready in the first place. You don't find a husband in junior high

Well you don't want to lie to her, but you could also say that you feel very uncomfortable because you know that he likes her and only likes the girl as a friend. Tell her that you don't want to see her feel hurt over this. She needs to not be so jealous. She needs to trust now or she is in for many years of pain.

Honestly? stay away from the whole situation,some girls will look at a guy and in 2 seconds fall in love with them.trust me she will get over it and find a new guy in a week or so and you can have fun with the next situation lol sorry theres nothing you can do.AND don't encourage her at all!!!! it will make it worse.
