You know the type. you go into a store and everytime you want to look at something, it seems you can go into the stupidest most unused part of the store and everytime some asshole will come up and stand right up next to you in your zone and always try to get you to move for them as though they need exactly what your looking at when most of the time their not even shopping for anything and just feel the need to **** with people appparently. I swear half the morons that go out to shop are really out to just **** somebody over just cause it makes them feel better.

People are like that because obviously they weren't taught manners. I always wait till the person looking is finished and then go to it, and sometimes the same idiot comes back and hovers again stalkin ya. I feel the same way you do.... it's like " just go somewhere else already and get the heck outta the way nosey"

I thought it was just me and my paranoia, but people really do that, don't they! There was one lady awhile back who followed me all over the store, and looked at everything I did. I thought maybe she was ill, perhaps a compulsive shopper. I love the ones who block the aisle when they see you coming, and look at something they have no intention of buying, just to be annoying. And the ones who stop in between you and what you are looking at, and do not leave. Night before last, this was mouthwash, and the little teenage twit made 6 trips back in front of me, and when I finally reacted by making eye contact with her and her mother, they left, laughing. Well, shop at Walmart, and expect to pay less, and meet more people who have as much breeding and manners as the smiley face. He goes around knocking down signs.
My personal pet peeve is Sunday morning at the grocery store. Church lets out, and everyone goes to the grocery to do the talking they could not do in church. They block the aisles, and have loud long conversations. Say excuse me and try to pass, and see how these fresh from church Christians act! I don't go there anymore on Sunday. And I don't go to the other grocery then either, after one old -- decided I was not moving fast enough to suit her, and took her bascart and rammed me in the hip with it. And when I turned to ask for an apology, the entire line of people bristled, like I was the one at fault.
They are rude and selfish because that is our society, they are taught to be that way. As was the teenage twit whos mother was helping her annoy people. It is a game by very desparate people to get attention, any attention.

Does this happen a lot to you? I can't think of seeing this happen ever... occasionally people will push me away to reach for something and I'll most likely tell them 'hey, sorry if I'm in the way but could you like ask instead of shoving me?'. But I don't think I've ever had people making me move just for the h-ck of it, without taking any products off the shelf.

That is just way they are and they will not change no matter what. They are the same people that will cut in line, have 10 items over in the express lane, people that cut you off driving and the same that will not say thank you after holding the door.

They are just your typical a___ ____s!

Well, I don't see that but glad you were able to vent :) So, if we live in big cities, crowds are normal and part of everyday stress. So, you are bound to have more than one (you) person wanting to check things out in a store even if it is an unusual item you are looking at. You know as they say, "don't sweat the small stuff" :) Chill.

They are mannerless. Give them a reality check by asking them to back away because you feel uncomfortable, because they are probably completely oblivious!!!

I know the feeling. Reminds me of when that idiotic driver pulls up behind you when he is free to switch into other lanes, and then starts honking the horn. for that, the middle finger works appropriately, I don't see why you can't do the same at the market.
