Don't listen to the other people, they don't know what they are talking about. Take it from a girl that everybody falls in love with. It is soooooo easy to tell. If he starts to bug you just to be around you a lot than you can definetly tell. Another way is to have one of your friends that you don't hang out with but still won't tell anybody ask him who he likes. If your friend doesn't get an answer ask one of his best friends(they know this kind of stuff). I hope this helps you.

There are always signs and hints that you'll be able to tell if a guy likes you or not. But see the thing is that some guys just play mind games and lead you on, and some girls do the same thing. If he talks to you a lot, or not necessary a lot, depends on what kind of guy he is, he could be shy and not want to talk a lot.
Here's some signs and hints:
*If he talks to you often
*Looks at you a lot/Stares
*Calls you just to talk to you
*Smiles at you
*Flirts with you
*Nice to you/ make fun of you in a nice way
*Makes you laugh and enjoy spending time with you
*Hugs you sometimes
*Wants to hang out with you
*Says sweet things to you
*Compliment you
*Remembers things that you told him from a past conversation
things like that, just make sure thae if he sends you a hint make sure you pick up on them. good luck :)

You said "boy" not man, so that limits my answer a bit.
He will want to spend more time with you.
He will call you.
He will follow you around at school when he can.
He will ask you to family events and parties.
He will tend to be hostile towards other boys showing interest in you. (that comes with immaturity).
He will give you things like candy, toys, games and stuff he thinks you might like.
He will try to make you laugh when your sad.
He will tell all his friends how cool you are.

You could try asking him or you could have someone else ask him for you. Other people might tell you things he does that are signs of liking you, but those could lead to false assumptions. Asking is simply the best way.

Intense eye contact, smiles at you sweetly a lot and trys to find times to talk to you and asks questions that will make him know more about you.

Well here are many ways you can tell:
-If you scream his name, and he turns around really concerned.
-If he looses track of time while talking to you.
-Whenever you talk to him, and you smile, and he can't help but smile back.
-When he asks you for your AIM, or MSN, etc
-If you tell him you like him, and he acts very suprised (plays dumb).

n he like might be doin stuff to get ur attention thats wat this one guy did wen he liked me he kept pointin to me then bak to his eye it was funny. so he might do somethin silly
uhm if he is kinda nevous round u that could be a sign.
oh and he might tease u .. i kno childish but boyz still do that
maybe u should have one of ur friends ask who he likes n if he likes you
