Every time I see some butthead walking around at the mall wearing camo I want to run into them and then claim I didn't see them.

What exactly do you mean by 'hardcore'? I wear camouflage stuff because I like it, but I probably wouldn't be considered a kid anymore. Or are you referring to fatigues? That's probably something to do with image, and wanting to be older, maybe. Or, could be they just like it.
Can't you just consider it patriotic, though? Wanting to dress like our brave men, fighting for freedom?

Because it's a part of the millitary's uniform. It symbolizes struggle, and toughness as well as violence. Dog tags are another popular war-oriented fashion statement. I think it's scary that my fellow youth are dressing up to go to war. With styles like these, it's no wonder that violence is increasing. I guess all we can do to make the future a safer place is to refrain from violence ourselves.

It's because camoufage is part of the military uniform, and they are HARDCORE! I guess they want to immitate them without the work that they endure!
