I met a guy a couple of months ago at work, went to a gig and got on great, met mainly in my work environment since then, but have texted each other and arranged a night out.
Thursday night we ended up back at mine and yes we had sex and stayed in bed all friday.
I did see him briefly friday night and sort of arranged to meet saturday, although it was quite a casual arrangement as i work in the pub and he said he would pop by for a pint
so i sent him a cheeky text thanking him for a great night and saying i finished work at 6.
Nothing since, i sent a msg to check he is ok, and got nothing back.
I am not very good with phone calls, so not gonna phone him yet, but SHOULD I SEND HIM A FINAL TEXT SAYING I QUITE LIKE HIM BUT UNDERSTAND IF IT WAS JUST SEX.
NOT TO FIND IT AWQUARD AND WE CAN STILL BE MATES.
or do I just wait? i dont want to seem pushy or desperate lol

hmm sounds like it was just a one night stand and you both went for it and now he's keeping his distance. even when you text him he never replyed so i think he's sending you his own message by not replying back to you hoping you'll read between the lines.
I would leave it be. but if your determined to text him again i gues what you said above saying i understand if it was just sex its okay then no problem.. this may leave the door open for him now him knowing your not going to fall all over him and know it was just a sex thing and this could lead him back to you again for more sex romps in the sac as long as your ready for that kind and realize its not you he' s into but the sex keeps him fed. and if thats all you want from this guy then nothing wrong with both sowing your oats and gettng some fun time along the way. Just don't get hooked on this guy or fall for him. remember the rules you two have set up by you texting him this message don't confuse the guy later.

message him saying, "i enjoyed your comany and the sex was even better, call me so we can arrange another time, if not, well, have a nice life, cause i aint gonna message you again if you don't reply, besides i think this guy at bar is giving me the eye.....toodles"
he'll either want to do it with you again and be jeaouls or not reply and you'll know why (it was just sex to him) don't bother with the mates part, it'll just make it awqward

I would ask him face to face what his intentions are the next time he pops in to your work. Tell him straight forward that you dig him! You might miss a golden opportunity if you don't!

i would wait. If he doesn't do anything in a month then forget about it. let him make the first move.
