^^As above, just how many different production models of German-made Messerschmitt 109s were there? I'm not counting one off experimental models or foreign built ones, just variants that were produced in some quantity.

There were up to 10 different designs that went past the development stage, 9 flew sorties in the war, 8 were produced in mass production, and other varients were developed by Czechoslovakia after the war.
As many as 35000 were built.

6 or 7. i know they made at least the 109-F, meaning the 6th variant. maybe there was also a 109-G and H. overall, i think the Germans made about 40,000 109's.
