Throwing rocks at someone or something?
Whatever....nobody has the right to hit anyone. Child abuse is overused. He did not abuse you, he slapped you across your back. It was wrong but not worth calling the police on him. Surprised that you are still upset about this after two years...I think you need to get over it unless he still lives there and is still hitting you. Better talk with your mom but the statute of limitations, even if you did call, is over and there is no evidence that it even happened.

Yes, that was child abuse. No one ever has the right to slap you. If he ever touches you again, immediately call the cops, contact Child Protective Services, or tell a guidance counselor/teacher at your school. Try to take a picture if he (or anyone) leaves a mark on you. That picture will be valuable evidence.

Remember, you have rights as a child. You have the right to be safe and in an environment free from harm. Call 1800-4-A-CHILD if you want to talk to someone about the situation. It is a free hotline with counselors that can help you out.

Well I think that you could do that because there are laws against this and you should also confront your mother about this. I'm sure that your mother would listen. My question is has he looked at you in any way that made you feel uncomfortable? If so keep away from him because not wanting to scare you but you should be aware that hitting you is a way that he wants you to be afraid of him. Don't show him fear stand up to him. Don't be rude and make damn sure that he doesn't touch you or is alone with you in any case.In this case as well you should alert your mom of you being hurt by him.

If he is living with your mother, he has the right to discipline you for doing something wrong. But, he doesn't have the right to hit you like that. If you haven't, you should try to talk to your mother about the incident and any other incidents that have occurred. Perhaps you all 3 should sit down and have a discussion about the situation. It always helps to be able to talk things out with one another.

I'm suprised your mom did not call the cops herself. Hitting a kid on the back is not a good thing. If you are goingt o spank a child, the only place to strike is the butt. Even then you do it just hard enough to get the kids attention. Yes, I believe in spanking....get over it. Is your mom still with this guy and is he still abusive toward you or your mom? Makes me wonder.

U need to see the bigger picture u may not have thrown it at anyone but things can get broken and people do get hurt when children throw stones. If your mum gave him permission to discipline u that he was within his rights.
