Yes they taste different, usually (from what I've noticed) raisins from green grapes are kinda sour compared to raisins made from purple grapes.

Those would be the white raisins..and the purple are from red grapes.

there are purple grapes and they are purple raisins. There are actually green raisins sold in grocery stores made from "white grapes" while they are not as popular they do exist.

Not all grapes are green. there are red and purple grapes too.
