Does anyone knows when a kidney stone will pass without pain? Cause my doctor told me that I have a 1cm stone and he said that it should pass in about 24-48 hours. I've drunk about 2 and a half gallons in the past two days and i'm still drinking now as we speak. Also had a terrible pain in my lower back and it travels to my thighs and groin area. The pain comes and goes, and I been pissin all day long. Don't have pain in my kidney area no more but a little pain in the middle part of my lower back. I aint seen no stone yet or felt pain coming from my penis but when I urinate I see sandy like particles in my urine. Is it possible that I passed the stone? Can anybody gimme a little feedback please?

I think you will know when it passes. You will have pain....no doubt about it. Then you will feel immediate relief.

If you are lucky it may have broken and will pass easily as sand, if not, well, expect the long haul, and a lot of pain. However, have you tried the ECSWT? Extra Corporeal Sound Wave Treatment. They can blast stones with sound waves. I had five blasted last year. You may also be elegible for some cool pain relief medecine. Whatever, if you have stones then that may be what your body has got you in for a long time to come, some people's bodies produce stones continuously, like mine, and it may be something you'll have to live with.

I'm definite they're each simply as painful. People will say start due to the fact infants are huge....however a kidney stone in some thing the scale of your penis are not able to think too well both.

Can't say for sure, but you may have passed it. Mine was relatively small and I couldn't even feel when I passed it. I did see it though, and it was not much bigger than a grain of sand. I don't know if they gave you something to "catch" it in, they provided me with a strainer to use when I urinated. If you can, take whatever you can preserve to the doctor for them to analyze.

Just saw that 1 cm part. That's pretty big! I would think you would definelty feel that.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

It's going to take months or weeks.
Kidney stones are NOT easily passed.

My mother has them and seeing sand is just the beginning.
The real stone is prety large.
