My son's teacher has lost her class to a teacher with tenure, and next week is her last day, I need ideas and suggestions on what to do for her...a poem, a craft for my son to make for her...this is her first year teaching, and I want her to remember her students!

Have each child write what their favorite thing about her is, in their writing (if possible).

Good Lord, I did not know that kind of thing could happen right in the middle of a school year! How terrible, especially for the kids. My suggestion is to get a blank stretched canvas as large as needed to fit the kids hands on it. Have them all use primary color fingerpaints and make their handprints. Have someone with good handwriting write their names in black permanent marker under each print.
Hope things go smoothly in transition...that really sounds like a bad situation!

Take a picture of each child and make a book. Ask the kids a question like. My favorite thing about Ms. ........ Or some other cute question and put it by their picture so she can remember the kids and their cute quotes.

Make a scrapbook using pictures of all the kids. Be sure to have each child write a personal note.

Buy her flowers make you son write a card and a goodbye song for his whole class to sing

Make a collage of pictures. from the class.Or maybe a group photo of the class and put it in a frame.

Ask everyone in the class to send you a picture. Put together a collage for her.

GET A SIGNATURE BEAR AND GET ALL THE KIDS TO SIGN IT. THAT'S WHAT THE CLASS THAT LOST THEIR TEACHER AT OUR SCHOOL DID.
