I'm 5'6" and I've been having difficulty with the dating scene. I've viewed personal ads and noticed that most women prefer taller men. Further, I find that most attractive women are taller than myself. How can I increase my appeal with taller women? In general, how can shorter men boost their confidence when in pursuit of a taller woman?

There is this misnomer that women like taller men because they feel safer with them. If you come across as self assured, smart and gentle as well as honest and sincere you will find your lady love. The matchmakers of long ago based a lot of matches off the height and body build of the people they planned to pair up. Think about how good it feel when 2 bodies fit just right...melt into 1. Can't do that so well if the fellow is 6" taller then the lady, all she will smell is his arm pit!

in actuality women prefer men that are confident and can make them laugh. If you make your height an issue then it will be. Turn it around. What do you like in a woman? You have just as much choice as any woman. Most of us like people that are confident be they man or woman. You can not hide how tall you are, so quit apologizing for it. make a joke about it. Say to the woman, I usually like women the are shorter, but for you I will make an exception.:) say with confidence, with a little attitude and a sly smile. It works!

I think women like the dominance of a taller man. You can just let her get to know you. If she judges you and see's you as a short man and not for who you are, then she is not worth it.

i personally like taller men,but when i'm interested i'm interested..height is not going to make my decision...women can see weakness..so be confident...work w/ what u got.
