My school's band is going to Orlando, Florida in March and I was wondering how much money I should bring. We are staying for 6 days. 4 of the meals are going to be paid for. We are going to Disney World (2 1/2) days there, and Universal Studios (also 2 1/2 days there.) I have to pay for the rest of the meals, and any souveneirs I want. About how much money should I bring?

As much as you possibly can scrape together! Just remember that all of the souveniers that they have in the theme parks are also available in the gift shops all along the main drag (rt.192) for like 1/2 the price! The first time we went,I spent a small fortune on that kinda stuff, but learned for the next time where to go instead. Have an awesome time! (and you can get coupon books everywhere for your meals)

Bring $1,000, but don't spend it all. You never know what must-have souvenir you might find. Be sure to use the room's safe and never keep all of your money on you at one time. I highly recommend buying a water bottle and filling up at water fountains. Bottle water inside the parks is expensive and not worth it. Dasani is essentially tap water, anyway. And don't miss the Tower of Terror at Disney-MGM Studios. It's my favorite ride.

Park fees, if not included will cost you big time, check their websites if it isn't included. I would budget $100 per day outside of the admissions for activities and food. Nothing is free down there NOTHING! But have fun, I love going to the parks.

500 bucks, it's really expensive in touristy areas like those. and it's always better to have a little too much money then run out half way through your trip. Have Fun!
