If you're looking to find a date for a wedding, I would take a good friend. A wedding is not generally a great first date. Weddings can sometimes be a good place to meet friends of friends. If you bring a friend, they'll understand if you chat up someone else for a short time (don't abandon your friend, though!) and at the very least you know you'll have a good time.

Hmmmmmm...Since you put this in "Weddings", I assume you are looking for a date you can take to a friend or relatives' wedding.
So....Just ask around...You never know what you might find!!
(If I knew you were single and was in my hometown...I might be willing to go out with you!!) ;-)
