so.
i've known that there are a ton of stupid people in the world.
reading some of these questions and answers disgusts me. i mean, that somebody could be so ignorant in a day and age filled with so much information out there...it terrifies me.
the atheists, evolutionists, and other -ists all come off sounding much smarter.
but then i think: maybe the people who are the happiest are the smartest.
if atheism makes you happy: ca-ching. money in the bank. you're golden. if religion makes you happy: ditto.
my personal view is that EVERYONE will ALWAYS have differing personal views. that's the way it's always been, and when i think of people who try to change that fact, i think of people like hitler.
and i also believe that people should just try to find their own personal happiness, unless of course that involves hurting someone.
call me an idealist. too romantic. whatever. but wouldn't the world would be such a beautiful place?
what do you guys think?

Everyone has different points of view for instance you think Atheist come off sounding smart to me they sound like hateful idiots. You may be a idealist but I am a realist the world is not such a beautiful place and that's just how it is! Ca-ching

I'm w/ ya. I wish all of us could live w/ those we love and have that feeling that everyone else is finding happiness as well. What we live in is a selfish world where people can't even walk down the street sometimes w/out being silently judged. IT SUCKS. The best we can do is keep on doing those things that we love to do and just hope things can just naturally change. Hope is the key.. unfortunately.

I'm kidding. You're right on. I just happend to be raised Catholic and do believe in God, but the last thing I want to do is try to convert everyone I run into. I don't even ever bring up religion. I really don't care if all the rest of you are going to burn for eternity. LOL Again, just kidding.

Yes, you are so right. I find myself getting angrier by the moment on this site tonight. I am a Christian and I want Godzilla to stomp us all out. God help me. Lets lighten up. I can't take all this nastiness, including my own. I turned off the computer and decided to watch Hockey, but even my team lost. Boohoo. Thank God for idealist and romantics. God love ya. I think so to but then agian people will always have some to say [type] no matter how smart/happy they are. Alot of people are just to damned scared to go out and found out what this world is really all about. (but then if people were that bold, yahoo would be shut down...right? lol)

It is an impossibility unless they go back to answering phones with real people. I hate hate hate getting a robot telling me to listen to a menu, heXX i am not hungry., i want information. Then you get a second menu, and on it goes. Until this stops everyone will be tight as a cold hind end.

none of all the cults of the christian religion can get along so why would anyone think we would all agree? i am agnostic my wife is lutheran (one of many, many types of lutherans) i have no problem with it. it makes her feel happy singing in choir, doing sunday school and other projects for the church. i am happy she is happy. i understand her views and how children are made to believe what their parents beleive and she understands my views. we have RESPECT for each other. which many times i dont see on here!
