and why arent horsies allowed inside the theater?

I'm not sure why you asked that question in this forum, but here's how it was explained to me.

The cost of admission goes primarily to the movie companies. That pays the actors, directors, etc. as well as the stockholders of those companies.

The theaters obtain almost all of their money from the sales of concessions. This pays labor costs, utilities, and other costs of the theater.

And this will go up when the minimum wage goes up. Something to look forward to.

"If you didn't have concessions at a movie theater, there would be no movie theater. We have movies just to get people in to buy popcorn and candy, where we make our money."

I wondered that myself......u pay more for snacks then the movie its bad! plus there popcorn sucks

solution- get a back back and have ur own popcorn, drinks and soda in it.
