Is there an easy wasy to trap my cat?

I need an easy way to trap my cat to bring her to the vet. She is very afraid and she hides all the time.

I use to go into the bathroom with a little plate of tuna and she would follow me in. I could then close the door, let her have the tuna and put her in her cat carrier after this. Much easier task when the two of you are in a small confined room. Though she still hated getting in the carrier. Good luck. --Andy

What I do to trap my cat when i bring him to the vet I usually throw some cat treats into the cage and wait for him to go in and close it. Sometimes he wont so i pick him up and put him in or if the cat only walks up to the cage you need to push it in a little so it goes in.

Have you tried catnip? for shy cats this have the power to loose them up a,little while for normal cats just make them crazyyyy maybe this way you can distract her a little and while in the car be sure you can have her pet or something, my cat travels with me but she is different, she is blind and she knows we are going somewhere but i know she prefers to be where we are so she comes along. Your cat may hate the car but being with her maybe sticking your finger trough the bars will comfort her a little. Good luck

My cat is very shy also, and i just wait until she's eating and then pick her up and bring her to the car.

Put some meat in a small room like a bathroom and have go in and close the door on it.

lure her in with food my cat dose the same thing and its extremly anoying!
sometimes you just have to let her know that you are in controll and that she has to do what you say.
