Sadly, anything that is part of the DHS (which includes ICE) is hopelessly screwed up. History will fault Dubya for the horrible reorg of DHS after 9-11. Most of the domestic uproars that you've read about, from security leaks to FEMA woes to illegal immigration, have come from DHS.

There is nothing to make it faster. The process is what it is. You'll just have to wait your turn like everybody else does.
