Look, you can get stuff free by walking in to a store and taking it without paying for it, too. It's called stealing. And that is what you are doing when you are using limewire to download copyrighted material. It's no different. And the consequences when caught are the same as well.

Honestly, p2p file sharing programs like limewire/ frostwire, etc. have gotten really bad with viruses over the last few years. One way is to purchase your music (like from itunes), or if you do want to use a program like limewire, look at the size of the music file you want to download. If you're looking for a song and a file comes up and it's size is too small to be a song, don't touch it. Make sure you have an anti virus program running in the back ground at all times. If you don't know how large a music file usually is, get the general idea by going into the folder: "my music" , right click on a song and go to "properties". It'll tell you there. Hope that helps a bit.

You can often get viruses while downloading from limewire. But no, it's not too good to be true. I'd suggest another site, like bittorrent, to download, because you get less viruses. Then again, it is a bit risky, because it's illegal.

Indeed, it is too good to be true. When you download amd install limewire you get more than you bargained for. You get Viruses and Spyware. But...if that is your bag of bones...then go for it!...otherwise, steer clear.

It works, but its not exactly legal lol. But you won't get in trouble as long as your not putting on lots and lots of stuff for other people to download. But make sure you stick to songs & videos. Its too easy to get viruses in the Programs section.

No, it works perfectly fine with no catches except that if you download copyrighted things (such as music) it's illegal.
