judaism is the only religion accepted by christianity. but it is soooo different. honestly i dont get it at all. there is too much envolved. Plus do you make sure to follow all 300 laws so that you have a clear path to heaven??? to me jewish stuff seems harder and harder to follow as the years pass.

Actually, the Jews were rejected by God(for all time) and Christianity up until about 100 years ago.

Heaven isn't really the goal for Jews. We are more concerned with being good people for the here and now. It might be difficult for Christians to understand, because so much of Christianity is afterlife-focused. We really don't talk about heaven and hell that much. Yes, we have 613 mitzvot (commandments) that we are to try to follow but the key word is TRY. We have our whole lives to work toward being better people to our families, our communities, and our world.

It's difficult to compare because we don't worry so much about what will happen when we die, but what will happen when our interactions with each other turn out well or not. I hope that makes some sort of sense...

All religions are accepted by Christianity, unless they are 'religions' based on harming others. Christianity, however, doesn't 'accept' the Jewish faith as a 'division' or a religion similar to its own in any way. They are two completely different religions except for two things. One of those things is this:

The Torah is the Old Testament for Christians. That is it.

Jews believe that Christ was man and Christians believe that he was the son of God. Jews are waiting for their saviour while Christians believe in the second coming.

The second similarity is that any Christian and any Jew, if they are really followers of their faith, are individuals who believe in love, acceptance and showing respect to other people so that the world can be a better place.

Accept them cuz we have the same God and they are His chosen people of the Old covenant, Gentiles are chosen of the New.

And actually its 613 laws.
