I am a 22yr old white male. I am dark skinned though for a white guy. I rock J's, Tims, got diamonds on my neck and in my ears, am a college sr, and work 40 hrs a week. Almost all of my friends are black. I don't have but maybe like 2 white friends. I dont try to be "black" it is jus I grew up in cities where there wasn't all of this divide that you find in small towns n all. I consider myself "urban" really. Anyways, I am hella attracted to black girls, but I never see the white men-black women couples that often. I was wondering, are they attracted to white guys like me or is it just a lack of interest by a large number of them? I mean everything like if you are attracted is individual, I know, but it doesn't seem to be a common trait, thats all. I was jus wondering bc I wanna date black girls and have really really really been attracted to some since I was like 14. I don't even really like white girls that much, honestly. There's just something about that caramel tone that gets me.

Well this is coming from a light Caramel sister!!! To answer your question YES we are very attracted to white males. We look for the same qualities in any man no matter what the color. I'm speaking from experience because I date interracially, and yes I have dated white guys, as well as Asian guys too. To me a man is man no matter what. When I look at men I don't see color, I just see a man. At the end of the day all you men have the same body parts, and think the same way. The only difference is the skin color. Go out there and get you a nice black girl, You'll be surprised at how many of us like white guys. Sometimes we don't know if white guys are interested in us either so as the guy you need to atleast let her know that your interested, otherwise you lose that chance. Yes some of us are. Its just a little more difficult for us to act on that in some cases than it is for the males of our race. There's a double standard. Personally I'm attracted to all races of men and just recently I started caring very deeply for a man who just so happens to be white. You just have to be yourself and focus less on racial differences and more on the individual when you approach the young women you're interested in.

If you really like a girl then go out with her. Maybe the reason white guys you see don't date them b/c maybe you live somewhere thet really don't mix cultures like where you came from. And most white guys that have relationships with a black woman pick a girl that has got her stuff together meaning her mind body and soul are precious to her and she knows how to take care of herself and whomever she is with. If you do get a gf, just make sure you treat her right especially if she treats you right.

Have you ever asked a BW out. Believe me BW dating/marrying WM is nothing new. Most WM are afraid to ask BW out. I bet you if you asked her out she will go. I know this because I am a BW and my husband is White. We met at Whole Foods several years ago and he just came up to me talking to me. We have been together every sense.
