It was my own decision. I've been a Christian for about 10 years now. I wouldn't say I follow a religion, I follow Jesus.

I became a Christian at age 18 when I actually heard the gospel for the first time. That all I had done wrong could be forgiven was something that was too good to pass up without investigating further. I asked Jesus into my life to forgive me and to be my Lord and Savior. At the moment I prayed I just knew it was the right thing to do and over the weeks and months that followed God really became real to where there was no doubt whatsoever.

Yes and no, Jesus found me, I didn't find him! I was filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus name as a boy, now I am and old man, I still live for Christ. One thing I have learned over the years is that Faith is not religion. I did not follow religion any religion. In fact Jesus said follow me, that's what I did. He is indeed hide from the world they can not know him unless he desires it.

I became a Christian when I was around twenty. For me it was a decision to repent and ask Jesus to save me.

I was brought up going to church. I stopped going to church when I left my parents' house and went out on my own. About 25 years later, someone took me to a good bible teaching church and I got into bible study. That's when my life changed.
Interestingly enough, the church I was taken to when I was young? I never remember them teaching much about the bible.
