All of the men I've actually dated longer than a hot minute were blind dates that our mutual friends set us up on.
You could also try joining clubs or leagues in your area that can help meet new people and put yourself out there. After my mom got divorced, she ended up meeting her second husband by volunteering wtih Habitat for Humanity. The possibilities are endless!! Church, clubs, bowling leagues, taking dance lessons or taking a class to learn a new language... These are all great things to enhance your life ..... and your chances at finding a new mate! good luck! :)

Try friend of a friend thingie or something......or there's the work scene but I wouldn't advise that. it can get complicated
