You say you love her, so tell her. Easier said than done, I know, but if she's really worth it to you, then tell her that you love her and you are sorry because you know your timing is off, and you didn't know what else to do. The worst that could happen is she says that she doesn't want to be with you, and while I agree that that would make for an uncomfortable silence, you would then have to move on without her, which you would have to do if you anyways if you just avoided it completely, so give it a try.
Is she and this guy really serious? Is she honestly happy? I don't see any reason to disturb that if she is, but if she's sure about this other guy, then you telling her the way you feel shouldn't put a hold on her feelings for him. Be honest. If you are sure you love her, tell her so. If you want to be with her, mention it, but don't pressure her. Tell her that until she tells you she's happy, you hope to be an option for her. Until she's happy, you won't move on (don't be creepy about it though- you don't want to come across as a stalker). If you think you can make her happy, then tell her. I'm sure she would want to know if you're questioning so many things because you love her.

Good luck, Honey.
P.S.; You may not want to say this in front of her boyfriend. And maybe don't mention YAHOO! Answers when she asks why you're telling her... or maybe do. Honesty, right? Once again, good luck! Follow your heart, and you will be fine.

If she's interested in you too and she acts upon it, and you're not friends with the guy, then in my opinion she's the one that's doing wrong. If you got found out though, I'm sure the guy wouldn't be fine with you. It depends if she's worth the hassle.
But if she's not interested, then stay away.
If she has a family with the guy then it's just a bit heartless to wreck that, I'd say.

Leave it alone man. I know it hurts but it's wrong to try to make a move. Look at it this way. How would you feel if a guy did it to you?

If she is taken, put your efforts elsewhere. No sense banging your head and heart against a stone wall. There are lots of fish in the sea
