I am sure you will get the full benefit
Eligibility for federal student aid is based on financial need and on several other factors. The financial aid administrator at the college or career school you plan to attend will determine your eligibility.

I would go directly to the financial aid office on the campus you are wanting to attend. I would do it soon so that you may receive other grants on top for applying early.

since you're a dependant student, you will need to include your mother's tax info when filling out the FAFSA. You should be able to get a subsidized loan without a problem. If your a first time student, you will probably get $2625 a year. For grants, with it being your Mom and yourself, both of your income shouldn't go over $30,000/year. Of course the lower the better. When it comes to CT state grants, I honestly don't know what is offered. Hope this helps.
