Go to the microsoft website. I know that they offer trail versions of Office programs in the downloads page.

Carling is right, Open Office Org is a free office suite, I use it, and it looks almost exactly like MS word. You can save your documents as MS Word documents, but I think it will be MS Word the 1996 version. Still, it's free, has a version of Excel, Power Point, pretty slick. I think you will be more than pleasantly surprised with it. Chow.
