Distance from Rome Centre to Florence Centre 175 miles
Highway distance 145 miles.

Travel time: speed limit on highway is 80 mph. If traffic is fluid it would take about 2.30-3.00 to go from anywhere in Rome to anywhere in Florence. A bit less if your destination is near to highway ramp.

Toll is about 13 euro depending on where you get in highway.
