Nothing. It's harmless venting. Most parents understand and as long as you apologies later when you have cooled down. Just remember the old proverb " Be careful of what you wish for you might get it!" You really wouldn't want to loose your parents. Just remember that what you say and do comes back to you. Lashing out in general isn't a great thing to do. It's Better to just say something like "mom, dad please leave me alone." Than go up to your room and relax. IF your parents follow you there just say that you need some time to relax.
Good luck!

Believe me, we all have been angry with our parents. You are right, it is good not to scream at people but "I hope you die" sounds harsh. You probably don't really wish that he would die. Maybe you could mutter the "stop badgering me" instead or something else with a bite to it.

No, the worst is to mutter under your breath about wishing him dead. Your life will be full of having to take orders...he's just helping you to get off the ground, like it or not. It is time for you to start listening up, listen to "content" not tone. Accept this and you will do fine. We've all had to experience this in our life. You'll survive it too.

I don't think it's worse than any other cuss words or things we yell in anger. Try to control your anger so you can argue at a normal tone of voice *and* with normal words; on the whole that's more effective :) I've never latched on to one particular word or phrase as being so much more terrible than others in cussing & screaming, nor have my parents when I was young... either you're controlling your temper or not, but to say as long as you just avoid one particular phrase when you're still screaming & throwing lots of other abuse at them it's somehow 'better' seems silly to me....

Have you ever heard the saying of eating your words well the worst thing to me is wishing him dead and that actually happen and that's the last thing you can remember saying to him that's not a good thing and I'm sure that it would stick with you forever. Parents are parents and they say a lot of things that we don't like but you have to respect them their just trying to help us and as you get older you'll appreciate that just be respectful and listen to them you'll appreciate it later in life if you don't now.

you should never wish your parents dead. If it gets to the point where you cannot control your anger then walk away
