when you are a parent and your child wishes you dead...it would (figuratively) kill you right then and there.
you will understand when you are older, how much it really hurts when your child says that to you.
your parents gave you LIFE!
besides, think of how you would REALLY feel if your parents died. many people aren't lucky to have parents. you are blessed to have parents and need to realize that.

Everyone at some point or another gets fed up of hearing their parents advice. I've both screamed at my parents and wished them dead...neither was a good option. Anger is a strong emotion and can make us say things we cannot take back once they're out there and can do allot of damage to the person you're directing it at. Think about it, how would it make you feel if your Dad wished you dead? Parents do what they do out of a genuine concern for their children because they love them. They may have made similar mistakes in their youth and attempt to spare you the pain of going through it by "badgering" you to use some common sense about what you're doing . When you're frustrated with them, instead of blowing your stack, try telling them how you feel in a calm discussion. If you want to be treated like an adult, you're going to have to act like one. You may not see it now, but some day you will realize your parents were trying to protect you, and you will regret the angry things you said to them. THAT is the worst.

people can be hurt terribly by words alone. imagine how you would feel if someone wished you dead. if your parents said it?
we parents are fragile. very. its the hardest job in the world. and to think that the people we love the most, our children, wish us harm is devastating. we usually know you are saying it out of anger but some things you just can't take back. i'd rather have the screaming match.

lots of time when i was young i wished my dad dead, he was a very cruel man. i would not have dared scream at him though cause i would have been minus a few teeth.
but as i got older and had kids of my own i finally could see a few of the things he was talking about.
he eventually got saved and we had a decent relationship ---for the two months before he died.
i wish he was still here sometimes.---one of these days you will look back and understand.
instead of screaming i think your dad would respect your ideas more if you said them calmly and rationally to him.

No wishing them that gets on their nerves b/c they can't bear to hear their child tell them such a horrible thing....the screaming thing is expected (probably normal for a teenager!!!!!)so they don't mind as much as they do for that!
Just don't break their heart by saying that...try to be nice....

You need to respect your parents and grow up. I lost both of my parents and wish that I could have had a better relationship with my dad.

both are harsh, treat parents with respect, once again they got you to be the woman you are. Just think if this were a boss or co-worker, you couldnt do either, you have to mature with them and handle it in a calm fashion

Telling your parents that you wish they were dead is crossing the line. It's extremely juvenile.
