Has anyone done anything to fix their posture that really works? I have had bad posture as long as I can remember and people always comment on it. I cannot seem to fix it because standing straight feels awkward to me. BTW, I am 5'2" so I am not a tall person who slumped to feel shorter....

I've been a figure skater since I was 7 and because of it I have such good posture. Try an activity of a sport that forces you to have good posture otherwise you'll hurt yourself or fall over.

Even better try ice skating! If you don't have good posture you'll more certainly fall over! I actually don't even know how to slump anymore without it hurting. I'm 5"2' as well but I feel a lot taller sometimes because of it.

Core excercises: lower back and abdominal work will help. Crunches, leg raises, leg pulls, lateral bridges, etc.

You can google this stuff.

Develop a core routine, and do about 10 minutes a day, 3 days a week.
