First I would like to start out by saying that I think it is very responsible of you to take care of your body. I feel that dieting is not the way to honestly lose weight, because diets are always destine for failure. However I do recommend cutting out soda all together if at all possible (or even just to have 1 or 2 on the weekends). Also cut calories, do not starve yourself, but eat right! Avoid sweets, sugar, candy ect.... You know the drill! Eat breakfast, try eating organic cereals or oatmeal if you can stand it. Carry a water bottle with you at all times, you may have to pee a billion times in a day, but you have to think of your goal. Do not ever get discouraged, it is hard to lose weight, and it takes time. As far as working out goes, I was a country girl that didn't have the money to work out at a gym when I was your age (which was only 4 years ago), so because I didn't have the resources to work out in any professional places, I ran. I would turn on my mp3 and run down my road. I started out running a mile a day, but by the end of my own little getting in shape campaign I was running 10 miles a day which was incredible. I am not saying you have to become a marathon runner, but just a jog is an amazing work out. If you ever have a few extra bucks laying around you can always buy a pair of weights that go on your wrists and ankles, even wearing those when you are doing house work helps. I hope I have answered your questions and helped you a little.... Best of Luck! Peace.

I would suggest trying Google, the local phone book from the last town they lived in (these are often available at the library if you can't find them on line), directory assistance in the town where they lived, the local chamber of commerce from the town they last lived in, MySpace, Classmates.com to name a few. These are the only free searches I am aware that all you will need to spend is time. There are companies that will do your searching for you, but they charge and the costs vary.

Good luck to you

if you know their last place of residence you could put ads in the local paper or you could try zabba search.com. type in the name and as much info as you have and you should come up with at least a starting point. good luck and good hunting. i hope all works out well for you.

Try googling their names on the internet (if you know their names). I would try that first. If you don't have names, I would try to contact other family members of your dads family (mother, grandmother, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers). Google their names if you have to.

you have to start somewhere, birth place, names, dates, call the state where you last heard, or try one of those people search sites, it costs, but may be worth it.
