I've been seeing this guy for 3 months but we're not exactly a couple. See his sister is my best friend and his family is like my second family but they don't know, and he's almost 3 years younger than me. Only 2 or 3 friends know about us and they all think its a bad idea. I keep being told that it won't work out and I should end it. We really like each other but I don't know what to do. I'm started to believe our friends.

If you are serious about each other & this may last a really long time (like his family does become your second family), then you should let them in on the secret. You know they already love you & it's likely they saw it coming.
If it's just a fling & you don't see it going anywhere, leave it be. There's no reason to get everybody excited about it if it's not going to last.

I'm guessing that you are in high school, if so, your friends are probably right...it's a bad idea. You may want to tell him so. Chances are, he has a huge crush on you (being the older woman) and the longer you wait, the more it will hurt. Be gentle with the poor guy!

If you and this guy really like each other you shouldn't be embaressed to hide it so either admit it to the world or break up with him... thats what i would do in your situation
