Don’t know if you’re a Johnny Cash fan or not but one song he sang, called ‘Sunday Morning Coming Down’, has always stuck in my head as a favorite.

Anyway, a while back (the Sunday before Christmas) I was walking my dog in the park and saw a woman sitting on a park bench. She seemed deep in thought, possibly reflecting on her life, possibly trying to figure out what to do next. I said nothing as we passed by, leaving her to her thoughts.

I hope I was able to do the moment justice with this painting, both to her and the Johnny Cash song. Please let me know what you think?

Hooray, you captured an artist's version of a Kodak moment! I like the way you put the movement in her hair and the tilt of her head is very nice. Keep up the good work, it's very expressive.
