i like this guy. i see him alot. but i dont talk to him. the first time i saw him i was too afraid to make eye contact with him. when ever he walks by me i stare away. im just way too shy. i like him. but i dont know if he likes me. he stares at me, but i end up looking away from him. im confused wheter he likes me. i would like to get to know him, but im too shy to start a conversation with him. what do i do? how could i make him to be my friend? please help.:]

Hey Girl,
I had a problem just like that once. Only the guy wasn't staring at me...he was and is really fine though!!! All I did was went up and said hi to him and made conversation. Find something you have in common with him, like a class you have together or a hobby you both like. For me, fate had it that he ended up being in a class of mine.
For awhile we didn't really talk, but I kept saying hi to him like once each day I saw him and tried to make small talk. You know like you'd say hi to any other aquiantance you'd see. Eventually he got comfortable with me and we became friends and our conversations went beyond the what's up and how you doin's.
The important thing is that you're sweet, confident in yourself, and not give in...
I did that and this guy who I originally was to shy and nervous to talk to became my best friend. He's still my best friend till this day. Who knows what might happen...we're just friends now, but he's single still so, I figure I still have a shot with him.
Yeah, it was hard for awhile because I had and have a major crush on him, but really I figured the worst that could happen was that he'd turn me down or be really rude to me. Even so, atleast if that happened, I'd know it and could move on with my life. He ended up being really sweet and now I have a wonderful guy friend that could maybe turn into a boyfriend someday. The best relationships start out as friends...trust me on this.
All I'm saying is...what do you have to lose??? Make that 1st step girl...get your girl-friends to dress you up nice, go up to him, smile, and say hi.... It could be that he's wanting you to come up to him and say hi just as much as you want him to do the same.

build up some courage always expect the worse, just tell him you wanna get to know him you only live once
