i have shoulder length curly hair. i wanna cut it emo. can i, and if so, how?

i dont really want to permenently straighten it, i love my curls. i'd luv to dtraighten it sometimes, though

I'm emo and i have curly hair
But I'm real emo not preppy emo
you should cut it shaggy
that way your curls will be different lenghts
it'll look really unique and beautiful
and it'll look good when you straighten it too

Ummm its kinda hard. Try straightening it with something: relaxing, or some cremes or something
Then try looking for scene/emo haircuts. Myspace or just on your search engine.
Being emo isn't really something to be proud of. Hair is understandable.

dont do "emo" its lame. i shaved my head. is that emo? you cannot be emo with hair if you are a girl. its a greasy look. long greasy hair is nasty. just get it some baby oil and when you shower and wash your hair put a small amount of baby oil in it. but only if it is like 1 or 2 onches long. i shave the sides shorter than the top so when i sleep i get a mohawk from being on my side all night! haha.

my chum has great thick curly hair and he or she were given a emo haircut. Its attractive...as long as she straightens her hair. It seems extraordinary curly once you've sufficient time to straighten your hair alot identity say bypass for it.

Of course you can! You can cut your hair as short as you want and then you straighten it, it is cheaper when you straighten your hair when it is short. And I mean straighten by permanently straight it would just be easier. I know because I have curly hair.

Don't worry. Making your hair emo will require so much abuse it doesn't matter how it started, it will be a black, stringy mess in the end (just the way you want it)
