Dear Pooja,
A Sweat Kiss to you and your small sister. I am really proud of your behaviour and the question asked.
1. Baby, first of all you should never disclose your identity in any way due security reasons.
2. Follow the instructions given by your mother and also try to be bit vigilent when you are alone in the house. Give her fruits/milk/food what ever your mother has instructed timely.
3 When ever she plays make sure that she does not have a fall from chair/bed, Avoid getting finger being crushed while opening/closing the door and Be away fromElectrical points and cabels if any.
4. At the same time you too take the apportunity to play and study along with her.
Try to teach her alphabets and numbers, help her while going for natural call and take care she does not slip in the bathroom.
Always keep your maindoor locked along with security chain.
While doing so I would like to request you one thing sweat heart dont miss your own studies. Really your parents would love you a lot and be proud of you for you maturity. May god bless you .

Make sure you take care of her real good, a 4 year old needs a lot of love & attention. You have to make sure you feed her breakfast, lunch & dinner. Give some healthy snacks in between (like fruits). During the afternoon, it's important that she takes at least a 2 or 3 hour nap (sleep). Make sure the food you give her does not choke her (meaning don't feed her big pieces) but make sure she eats all the time. You make sure she's happy, playing & what ever she needs, you teach her how to communicate with you if she needs something. Don't fight with her, share your toys & most importantly KEEP HER SAFE. all day, every day. If she goes to school, make sure you take her to school & pick her up every day. Don't let her play with anything dangerous. Give her a bath every day. Do not leave her in the bathroom by herself. You have to be with her all the time in case of emergency. And if you don't feel safe one day, you have to call 911. You should read her books before she sleeps at night. Give her lots of hugs & kisses because without mommy around, she will need all the hugs & kisses she can get from you.
GOOD LUCK! and maybe you should tell your mommy to get a part time job for now so you won't have to take over her responsibility as a mother to both you & your kid sister.

It is night time where I live....if it is where you live, at 12 years old, you really shouldn't have been left alone with a 4 year old anyway for an extended amount of time. I think that for tonight, watch tv with her...get her to sleep as soon as you can...and then make sure your mom knows that you don't feel competent enough to watch a 4 year old for that amount of time.

Make sure your sister has a few of her favorite toys or stuff animanls to play with and play with her also, read to her and make sure she had something to eat and drink, juice, fruit, rice, bread, etc. Once she feels comfort, love she'll fall to sleep and have wonderful dreams until your mother arrives home.

At 4 they like being creative. Get out the colouring book, the paints or play dough. Make macaroni necklaces, draw on paper.
Do some form of arts and crafts.
Of they like outside play ball with them, or play on a swing set, sand box....No tv... they get bored easily.....
