We have so much to be thankful for here in the United States. THIrd World countries aren't quite so blessed. I'm not a Christian nor do I pretend to believe in God. Knowing much about the hsitory of mankind,I have a very difficult time accepting that there is a God, a loving, just, omnipotent, all-knowing, compassionate God, who has allowed so much suffering over a period of millineums...I have an even more difficult time trying to understand why we here in the United States(as well as some other countries) have so much....while other, Third World countries, have so little. It's almost as though there are two worlds. One that has progressed so magnificently...while the other, unable to move forward beyond violence and evil, has been overcome by the devil.....

The reason WE are so blessed and THEY are so miserable has something to do with our political, miltary and economic policies. Our banks lend money to third world governments for "development". The money is either wasted by grafters or spent on an infrastructure without the resorces to properly build or maintain it. The debt comes due but there is no return because the projects aren't complete or the tenants are poor. So another loan is negotiated and soon most of the country's revenue is spent on interest payments, impoverishing it even more.

Foreign oil refiners come to third world nations to extract the oil and take it away (think Nigeria). But the locals never see a dime, only a few government officials who have been paid off.

Third and fourth world workers desperate to support their families work in sweat shops at impossible hours under lethal conditions for insulting pay to produce clothing, sporting goods and electronics cheap enough to sell at Wal-Mart.

The US preaches a gospel of spreading "democracy", while working to overturn elections with outcomes it doesn't like, and providing weapons and military training for friendly dictators.

The US consumes far more energy and raw materials, and produces more waste than any other nation. It also has the biggest military budget and the most people in prison. Is it any wonder we look "blessed" and they look "cursed"? The world is watching the US and wondering how long the disparity can last.

But don't worry, the peoplein charge of the US are working hard to make sure that we will be catching DOWN with them, that is, everyone but a few hundred billionaires.

The devil is indeed running part of the world, just not the part you think.

I want to address the assumption you make that the people who live in the UNITED STATES are blessed an have plenty. So you think if a person wins 300 million FRN's ( dollars ) in the lottery they really are rich. That is what most people think, however nothing is further from the truth. A little history about the UNITED STATES. The UNITED STATES was incorporated in the year 1871, see also 28USC3002, that's right the US is nothing more than incorporation just like Ford or GM. The biggest problem with US is the UNITED STATES INC. went bankrupt in the year 1918 and as been bankrupt ever since. Another words all the money of the US is fake worthless and all the people that live in the US that believe they own their homes, cars, truck etc... actually own nothing at all, that's why they pay taxes on it all. Taxes are paid to the owner of the home, boat, car, truck etc...

According to the Bible, everyone, the entire world, is under the sway and delusion of an evil spirit being called Satan, or the Devil. John writes: "We know that we (believers) are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the Evil One." ( I John 5:19)
II Corinthians 4:3,4 says "And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the good news of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."

If you have seen the movie The Matrix, the entire human race is under the delusion they are doing fine and life is going along splendidly, when in fact they are slaves, completely deluded as to the true state of affairs. They are actually the unwitting pawns of a malevolent intelligence and power far superior to their own, which is using them for its own evil purposes.
I believe the deception of the world under Satan is no less pervasive.
You are either in the Kingdom of God, or you are in the Kingdom of Satan.
You must be born again.

Third world nations have always been in deep despair. Now with the media and Internet, the only difference is that the rest of the world is aware of the crisis. The governments of these countries are the "devil" who kill their own people.
The "devil" also exists in Muslim countries where women are subjugated and fundamentalists blow themselves up in order to prove a point and kill innocent people.

Yes. Satan has taken the Arab countries and many others by convincing muslims that their pagan moon god allah is the true God of the Bible. The places where evil rules are mostly places where muslims practice jihad and do such things as suicide bombings, honor killings of girls, and female genital mutilation.
May god save us from allah.
Jesus Akbar.

Isn't it odd that the supposedly Christian nation has so much and yet refuses to do as their God told them and share with those less fortunate?

Watch how many tell me they give - yet we still have so much and so many have so little. How much do they actually give if they still have so much?
