Anxiety plays a huge role in most people's life I believe, for example starting a new job, moving, getting married, going to collage, having a baby. All these things and a number more can make anyone experience anxiety.

I feel that humans that are exposed to media are more likely to have depression than anxiety. With everything exposing us to what we should be like, look like, act like most of us do not compare.

I had a big problem with anxiety for a few years. I decided to get over it and not to worry what was the point. All it did was give me attacks and headaches the bad was still going to happen and so was the good. I just know how to handle both now.

I think personally it is anxiety, athough I have to admit, sometimes the two disorders go together.

Anxiety is probably more easily hidden than depression -- to the point where I would say the average outsider would not know that anything is not quite right in the sufferer's life.

Well in Psychology text books they say fear is the most commonly felt human emotion. So anxiety, I'd definitely say.

But from my experience the two seem to go hand in hand for some reason, but that could just be my own personal disorders causing that.

A huge number of people who experience depression also experience anxiety. These disorders have EXTREMELY high comorbidity rates (meaning that they occur together very, very frequently)....so it's pretty much a tie

I personally think that it is anxiety. I think it is genetic more than environmental. I know that I was born with it.
