Im Fair skinned also. I went to a tanning booth and i got burnt but after that i became tan and i kept going and i didnt burn again. It also works if you go to a tanning booth for a few times then just go lay out in the sun, Make sure you have some water, the sun reflects against water so it will make you tanner faster. The getting burnt part sucks but it only last for a little while then your tan which is the good part.

Go to a tanning bed and when you tan for the first time only do 5 min., for 3 days then move up to 7 min. and then 10 and then 20. for about 2 weeks then you will have the start of a new tan and you will look good and you will not burn. I got burned on a bed the 1st time in years since I been on a bed, but I liad on the bed the 1st time 2 long. Start out less time and then move up 2 more time.

Go to a tanning salon, Start out only going for a few minutes. I usually start people out at 8 minutes in a bed, 5 in a booth. MAKE SURE you get a lotion too, moist skin tans better than dry skin and tanning lotion helps you tan 40-50% better. I would go for a lotion with a bronzer it, with fair skin i would make sure it isnt a DHA Bronzer, That is like the bronzer in neutrogena self tanning lotion and that may turn you a slight orange. I used Austrailian Gold Cheeky Brown, it is about $20 and it has an instant bronzer in it that will give you instant color.

try self tanners, the lotion. I have fair skin and the loreal one works really good, I get the the one for light to medium skin. I use it all winter long....love it. be careful to use the tanning booth, if you burn in the natural sun you are going to definitely burn in the booth!

Well....I'm extremely pale .....and i burn easily too. The best thing you could do, is go to a tanning salon, wear that instant tan stuff, or just deal with it. I know, it sux.....i wish i was tan :-(

tanning is bad. no tanning booths. you don't want to look like a freak in the winter with your freaky orange tan.
