My 10 weeks old puppy is vomitting and laying down. He is not getting up no eating or drinking since We got home from vet. It's been 2hours. could it be the vaccine? or motion sickness from a long drive? or because I washed him in a shower right after? Please someone tell me if he is o.k?

Call the vet and tell him the problem...That is why you paid him. You are the customer get your money's worth. The dog is sick and 99.9 %of us out here are not qualified to give medical advice. We don't know if he will be alright!
Best of luck to you and your pup!

Call your vet right now and describe symptoms... he didn't by any chance get a parvo vaccine did he? Take him back to the vet pronto and have them run the test. Parvo is a very ugly virus.

Keep puppies away from all other (strange) dogs and do not take them to public places like parks, dog parks, etc. until they have all their shots and they are older.

After your vet checks the pup out ask what to help settle his tummy. I have been told to use yogurt, plain white rice mixed in with their food, cottage cheese, etc. Depends on what the problem is and how old/big your fur-baby is.

Don't over bathe your dog, it can cause skin irritations and allergic reactions. In between bath days, use unscented hypoallergenic baby wipes and just skim over his coat to remove daily dirt/oil. NEVER use over the counter soaps or flea medications. If your shampoo was an over the counter brand like Hartz, especially medicated or flea treatment, tell your vet immediately and go NOW. I had a roommate almost kill my pug with Hartz flea soap while I was out of town. $500 at the emergency vet and a lot of tears later he was ok but he will always have skin problems because of that. All I ever use on him now is Johnson's baby wash.

Good luck... I hope your puppy gets well fast. Call the vet just to double check, though.

If he got a vaccine, it is most likely from that, especially if he was fine before the vet visit. And car rides do make most puppies barf. In fact, I've had many dogs ( at least 6) and all of them threw up in the car as puppies. Just let him take a nice long nap and see how he feels afterwards, but it wouldn't hurt to call the vet.

If the vet is unavailable at this time, do research on vaccines on the internet.

Call the vet! but I think it could be all of the above many puppies get motion sickness in the car as puppies and it could be the vaccine. Did you make sure he`s not allegic to the vaccine?

Best of Luck for you and your puppy!!!

You should contact the vet and speak to the immediately about what's going on. I do not know if any vet who doesn't say "call me if you have any problems" after administring any type of service such as a vaccine, medication, etc.

Call your vet, if they cannot come to the vet they will immeidately give you a call back. They will tel you what steps to take, what to look for, or if you need to bring your dog back. Good Luck.

The reason your pup isn't eating is that it is nauseated. Some vaccines will cause a pup to get upset stomach, but would recommend that you call your vet and explain what is going on.Try giving it small amounts of the non-flavored pediolyte, the type used for infants.Only give a little bit at a time, maybe 30 minutes at a time. This should settle its stomach.

i might take her to the emergency vet asap. If this has been occurring for 2 days the cat food is out of her device and something else is the difficulty. She could have worms or yet another parasite. Your domestic dog desires to be seen by using somebody quickly or she ought to dehydrate from the vomitting and diarhea.

It could be from the vaccine, cause our dog did that to, he was really sleepy and kinda lazy, and vommited once, but talk to the vet again to be on the safe side
