I checked into getting a convertible and the one big problem with the sebring was the low front end. If you do get one be careful when pulling into parking spots. I ended up buying a Toyota Solara Convertible and love it. The tops on all convertibles are much tougher then they used to be years ago.

I'm not a big fan of chrysler, but go to kbb.com or edmunds.com and they should give you a rough estimate. My parents had a stratus and it went through a set of brakes a year and had to have the timing chain replaced 3 times in about a 4 year period. Of course it all happened right after the warranty was up. Good luck

Sebrings have major electronic problem$$$$, and check where convertible top folds into trunk area as they will hold water if drains are plugged causing
major rust .

I know they have a lot of road noise, which may or may not be solved with good quality aftermarket shocks and struts. also, on the earlier year models (might be 96-01, I'm not sure) they were designed incorrectly, so when you drove on the highway with the top down all the wind would go in your face. But they changed it later.
