The best beer in the world as an overly subjective concept. With over 60,000 beers in well over 70 style categories how could you possible name THE single best beer?
If you go by judging standrds from the worlds best known international beer judges it woul be Westvleteren abt. 12 a Belgian strong ale brewed by the Cistercian catholic monks of the Abbey St Sixtus in Watou Belgium.
My personal favorite is Cantillon Rose' De Gambrinus also from Belgium.

Sleeman's Cream ale my first pick made in Guelph Ontario Canada...or Heineken would be my second choice. For those of you in the Kitchener Waterloo region, Huether Black and Tan...mmmmmm
Cheap beer, in Canada I would go with Laker Red or Lakeport honey.
