I started WW the first of last year, stuck with it until the end of March lost 25 pounds. I had a couple weeks of no weight change became discouraged, gave up. Kept off the weight the rest of the year and started back three weeks ago. I lost nine more pounds as of my last meeting. so grand total of 34 lbs!

I'm hoping to stick with it this time, it is really a lifestyle change not a fad diet. you lose weight slow so you can keep it off

- helps to have a buddy to diet with you.
- I believe in the milk they tell you to drink, i'm not a breakfast person so i tend to have my servings of milk in the morning to kick my metabolism off without having to sit down for a meal
- eat 6 small meals a day
- oatmeal & tuna fish also keep you metabolism going

I perfer points myself, I find it easier to calutalate
(never really could understand how core works - "eat until your full?" if i knew how to limit i would not be overwieght, right?)

I lost 20 pounds in 10 weeks. It was awesome. I would still be doing it but I am pregnant and can't. I will be back on it as soon as I have the baby. I did points. My sister lost about 80 pounds on it and has kept it off for 10 years and my mom lost 50 on it and has kept it off for 2. I would just say don't give up. You may hit points where it doesn't seem like you are losing anything but then it will pick back up again. I love the program and the people are soo nice.

i did flex points. I lost 7 pounds but gained it back when i got off the program. i couldn't take all the counting and obsessing over points. I know lots of people it has worked for, including my mom, who lost 20 lbs and kept it off.

advice--get the monthly pass for 2 months, learn the points system, get your own scale, do it yourself to save $40 a month!

and don't forget to exercise. the program stresses walking, but the weight will come off much faster if you go to the gym and do vigorous cardio and weights. I was not working out, just following the food plan. do BOTH!

good luck. it is a great program--i have my own modified version!

My Mom did it and she lost 35 pounds in about 6-7 months. She did points. They closed the facility down though, and she gained it all back in no time. She really misses it and wishes they would re-open. Hope this helps. Good luck.
