What the hell do fairies have to do with Wicca?! Your previous questions suggest you are not Wicca as does this question. To be blunt.
A religion is a religion, by definition religion is a group with set beliefs, practices and doctrines, as such a religion cannot be changed to suit an individual person, it just does not work that way as you are either part of that religion or not. When someone takes influences from different religions this is what is known as New Age, what a lot of people believe the future of religion to be – as we live in a multi-cultural society it makes little sense to seek truth in restrictive systems like religions.
Say for example Wicca – you have to follow Wicca beliefs, practices, doctrines, gods and mysteries in order to be considered Wicca – many people try to pervert Wicca by claiming you can be Wicca without initiation and by following different gods, however this is strictly going against Wicca doctrine as Wicca has a purpose to protect it's own integrity by preventing those outside of Wicca from changing it or people from changing it to suit their own needs – Wicca are in praise of the New Age and personal beliefs, but if someone chooses to be Wicca then they follow Wicca.

Well it really depends on the religion. If you were following a re-constructionist religion I would have to say no it wouldn't be a good idea. However Wicca isn't recon. There are plenty of eclectic Wiccans out there, if you don't believe in certain magickal beings that shouldn't be a problem at all.

I was babtized Catholic. I hate religion and do not practice it. There are aspects of the wiccan ways that I like and practice. I wouldn't label myself really, but I think that if you label yourself as something then it would be expected of you to follow every aspect. The only thing I do is try to be good towards others, no killing or stealing, and have good values.

Isn't that the point of a religion- to create a PERSONAL relationship with Deity? Especially in Wicca- It's really quite emphatic on the personal bit.

I caught some worshipers on my property after I bought it down by the lake .I told them to never come back they did . they never left, was that OK. well I don't know but i TOLD them to NOT come back and do there little circle of fire thing and all by MY lake.
Do your thing on your own property is my suggestion.Y'all.
I don't have anything to do with evil people personally.
Get a life is also my suggestion.
If I ever catch Y'all doing anything to a child I will do to you the same I did to these people at the lake.
Sorry. life is like that sometimes.

It depends on the religion... from what I understand Wicca accepts many interpretations of its "doctrine", where as Christianity well there are somethings you can "twist" but certain doctrines HAVE to remain the same in all Christian churches for them to be considered Christian.

i think that, extremely, monotheistic faith is crap. the huge 3 have all been, or are in touch at present in stupid wars made in basic terms for land. The Jews and the Muslims are at present duking it out, and enable's no longer forget approximately all of Christianity's wars. Crusades and whatnot. extremely, i think of monotheistic religions in basic terms reason issues and unfold hatred. Islam is almost at odds with a lot of human beings staggering now, particularly the Jews. The Jews are at odds with the Muslims. The Christians are busy disliking everybody (homosexuals, Charles Darwin, Atheists, liberals, etc.) and spreading propaganda and hate. i've got seen it with my own eyes. And it makes me ill. yet another component approximately faith ( no longer purely the monotheistic ones now) that annoys me is how no you are able to nevertheless take, or provide accountability. it is often devil's fault, God's fault, God's reward, etc. i think of human beings ought to attain what they are the only masters of their destiny. As for my own non secular ideals, I belong to no longer something. i think of that there is a author, yet that he neither hates nor loves us. i think of of it as an area entity that in basic terms created us. no longer something extra, nithing much less. P.S. I do like Buddhism, and Pastafarianism, nevertheless.

WHEN ONE FOLLOWS A RELIGION THERE ARE RULES AND STANDARDS THAT GO WITH THAT RELIGION AS WITH BOY SCOUTS OR ANY CLUB THAT YOU MAY WANT TO BELONG TO NO ONE MAY CHANGE THE RULES TO THEIR OWN PURPOSE THAT IS WHY SO MANY PEOPLE CANNOT FOLLOW THE BIBLE AS THEY WANT TO CHANGE ,TAKE OUT, PUT IN THE THINGS THAT PLEASE THEM THE BIBLE IS WRITTEN BY GOD FOR MAN TO LEARN FROM AND BE SHOWN THE WAY TO LIVE ON THIS PLANET AND THEN REAP REWARDS LATER AFTER DEATH
